Suresh K.S. (Managing Director) 1973, Founder Director
Interest in everything technical began during school days with the family-owned Mechanical & Electrical unit manufacturing Electrical Panel Boards and other engineering products. Gained hands-on experience in managing work force in production, studying technical documents, customer interaction and study requirements. Excellent communication skills, professional approach combined with a warm personality has won the hearts of both clients and employees.
During the start up period he was responsible not only for Financial Management and Key decision making but also for marketing and Business development.
Spearheaded some of the key activities like:
- Negotiations with Major Customers both in India.
- Core Branch setup and enabling activity in 2001 to start branches in Hyderabad and Mumbai
- Building relationship with Overseas Customer and sign up contracts.
- Interaction with customers to start first International RMA business.
Ranganath P (Director) 1974, Founder Director
Work experience gained at MCS, Bangalore - an organization which dealt with servicing of computer peripherals and modules - after completion of Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering added great value to work ethos at Digicomp.
During 1993-94, acquired skills and gained proficiency on storage products like ODD, FDD and some of Multimedia products like Sound Card, etc. Renowned as ODD & FDD repair expert among OEM customers. Booming printing industry during 1996-97 with the rise in dot-matrix printer, laser printer and inkjet printer volume helped to venture into repair of printers like laser, inkjet and line printers.
Took lead role in:
- Mastering/Pioneering and introducing Data Recovery Business in Digicomp. Today Digicomp boast itself as one of the leading data recovery centers with global recognition with PC majors as its key customers.
- Establishing and managing All India Operations, including execution and customer support for key customers / projects when Digicomp signed agreements with few Overseas Customers to support India requirements.
- Taking up complete operational management of key customer accounts. Building excellent customer relationship – End Users, Channel Customers & OEM customers
Kaleeregowda (Director) 1967, Founder Director
Graduation in Bachelor of Science – Electronics with several computer hardware courses honed his expertise in computer hardware products. Career commenced in the field of power and display electronics but grew to include the wider arena that Digicomp now specializes in.
Took lead role in:
- Streamlining and stabilizing Mumbai branch which was quite challenging during the initial period of Samsung Operations.
- Improving and business ramp-up at branches like – Mumbai, Hyderabad and Cochin.
- Accelerating Digicomp growth and profitability with increase in sales and business volume.
Pradeep Prahaladh (Director) 1973, Founder Director
A Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering with the additional qualification as Microsoft Certified Professional provided the ideal base for a career in computers. Started career at 19 as In-charge of the EDP Processing in the Salary Circle of the Income-Tax Department, Bangalore, and then joined Digicomp to start the Software & Corporate Training division in 2000.
Contributed greatly towards Growth of Digicomp by:
- Initiation and formation of Digicomp Software business which included Software Training and Development activity during 1999.
- Heading complete operations of Training and Development business
- Acquiring skills and proficiency in various software technologies including Architecture, designing, development and implementation.
- Contributing towards Service Business Process Automation by implementing in-house developed ERP.
- Securing major orders and bringing in major Indian and Overseas clients for software solution business.
Ravikiran N (Director) 1974, Founder Director
Started his career at Digicomp with the challenging project of training a team of 120 employees at Bharath Electronics Limited in a span of 60 days on electronics, semiconductors and practical aspects of troubleshooting, power supplies and PC motherboards.
Technical background (Comp. Science Graduate from AMIE) so sound that he excelled as a troubleshooter on varied products - Boards, Disk Drives, Monitors, Printers, etc. His excellent communication skill was an added advantage, making him ideal for training other engineers in the field.
Some of the Major contributions towards growth of digicomp are:
- Expertise in Component level troubleshooting & Networking
- Expertise includes Network hardware setup, Novell Netware, Windows NT, Firewall/Router setups, etc.,
- Heading major project of repair services for customers in India and Overseas customers.
- A thorough study of the organizing methods of multinational firms
- Key role as Management Representative in Digicomp acquiring the ISO9001:2000 certification.
- Introduced new levels of management that could handle much bigger business volumes
- Bringing new innovations in Management systems like including:
- Devising employee incentive schemes
- Introduction of Business controls at various levels to monitor productivity and efficiency.
- Constructive ideas to improve in-house developed ERP system in Digicomp.
- Training and technology updates to Technical team.
